Pikeville Pride Hosts Online Auction to Support 2025 Pride Festival

PIKEVILLE, KY — July 23, 2025 — Pikeville Pride is inviting the community to support its mission of inclusion, celebration, and advocacy through a Facebook Silent Auction fundraiser happening this week. The auction, which features more than 30 donated items, will run through Friday, July 25th at 7:00 PM, with all proceeds going directly to fund the 2025 Pikeville Pride Festival in September.

The Silent Auction offers a wide range of exciting items including beauty products, handmade crafts, local gift baskets, and unique experiences — all generously donated by local businesses and community supporters.

“Our Silent Auction is a fun and meaningful way for the community to get involved and support Pikeville Pride,” said MaryAnn Fletcher, President of Pikeville Pride. “Every bid helps us create an inclusive, family-friendly event this fall that celebrates diversity, promotes acceptance, and uplifts LGBTQ+ voices in Eastern Kentucky.”

Auction Details:

• Bidding Opens: Monday, July 21 at 7:00 PM
• Auction Closes: Friday, July 25 at 7:00 PM
• Location: Online via the Pikeville Pride Silent Auction Facebook Group

Participants simply need to join the Facebook group, browse the auction albums, and place their bids in the comments. Winners will be notified after the auction ends.


Funds raised will directly support the costs of hosting the Pikeville Pride Festival 2025, including permits, entertainment, outreach, and family-friendly activities that make the event accessible and welcoming for all.
