OSHA Safety Training

The Center for Rural Development, in partnership with The Safety Firm LLC, an OSHA-certified health and safety training company, is providing a 10-Hour OSHA safety and compliance training on Feb. 22 (8:30 AM-5 PM) and Feb. 23 (8:30 AM-12:30 PM) EST in Somerset. This is an in-person, instructor-led classroom training and seating is limited. 

The training will give a broad overview of the most significant OSHA topics and regulations including:

• Walking | Working Surfaces | Fall Protection
• Emergency Action | Fire Prevention
• Electrical
• Personal Protection Equipment
• Hazard Communication
• Materials Handling | Forklift
• Ergonomics
• Safety & Health Management Programs
• Contractor Safety
• Auditing Techniques

Each participant who completes the OSHA training will receive a wallet card in the mail from the Department of Labor acknowledging their successful completion of the course from an OSHA accepted provider.
